The brand and its values
When Camille Bazil and Alice Ricard founded Little Cabari in 2013, they sought to shake up the rules of the child's bedroom. To break away from the monochromatic, powdery tones, and childish graphics, they designed wallpapers that freed the bedroom from childhood clichés. Like a desire to throw open the window, they generously bring nature and color into the home.
Together, they create collections that bring a breath of fresh air. Full of poetry, imbued with a pictorial touch, their refined patterns showcase nature with a new sophistication. And this beauty changes everything. It takes children seriously, challenges and surprises them, and offers them a welcoming refuge in which they can grow for a long time.
A pioneer, the brand was the first to imagine immersive decors for children, giving its letters of nobility to panoramic frescoes for little ones.
Today, Camille and Alice approach the entire home with the same creativity. There's no reason why only children should allow themselves a little fantasy! The brand's founders envision each room as they envisioned a young child's bedroom: a space for expression and freedom where you can showcase what you love.
Little Cabari was born from this shared desire to see everyone flourish in an inspiring home. It is also based on a commitment to sustainability that finds its raison d'être in slow lifestyle and a greener approach to consumption.
Thinking about the timeless
Camille and Alice design their products to last a long time with those around them. But designing home decor to ensure it stands the test of time is no easy feat. They opt for high-end materials sourced in an environmentally friendly manner. They design timeless patterns with inventiveness, combining finesse and modernity. They rely on the impeccable know-how of talented artisans.
The expert craftsmanship of Little Cabari products and their elegant design make them objects that last and never go out of fashion.
The power of beauty and fabulousness: each piece is a travel diary
Casting a marvelous gaze on nature, Camille and Alice draw from it a repertoire of forms that their artistic sensibility transforms into creative and timeless patterns. The vibrant palette of colors and the pictorial nature of the drawing evoke wonder and awaken the imagination. Because that's also what Little Cabari is all about. Arousing emotion. Astonishing. Disorienting. And offering everyone the chance to live in a beautiful environment.
A room of your own, just for you
From this desire to tell stories and invite dreams comes tailor-made products, one of the brand's pillars. Inspiring true desire, to please and to have fun with everyone's tastes, this is also what Little Cabari loves to do.
Enriching each other: an atypical creative process that places the artistic spirit at the heart of the brand
Working in tandem, Camille and Alice combine their know-how and talents to create very personal designs that make up the identity of Little Cabari.
It all starts with the drawing. Alice composes each pattern individually. She does a lot of research. But sometimes all it takes is a detail she comes across while walking: the vibration of a leaf, the movement of raindrops on a pond, the outline of waves on the sand. She paints each subject in gouache on separate boards. Because the artistic spirit is inscribed in the DNA of the house. It's a guarantee of quality and creativity. It's also an original way to reconnect with the Chinese tradition of wallpaper, which, in its origins, was hand-painted.
Alice's paintings are then digitized, and some of the rough edges are smoothed out. But the painterly style remains, giving depth to the motifs and bringing them to life on paper.
Camille takes charge. She brings Alice's drawings to life by imagining a story for them. She stages them, creating a dynamic backdrop in which the patterns are assembled. She invents lush jungles and abundant landscapes that create desire and curiosity.
Finally, comes color. Together, Alice and Camille define the range of tones, a rich palette of original colors. They love vibrant colors, those that convey cheerfulness and joy of living.
Each one, with their eye and sensitivity, thus participated in the birth of each collection.
Alice and Camille are surrounded by a dynamic team and artisan producers with exceptional know-how to successfully produce Little Cabari products.
Little Cabari today
Over the years, Little Cabari has expanded its range of home products: wallpapers, fabrics, then rugs, decorative objects, and furniture. Today, the brand is bringing new inspiration and moving beyond the children's world, opening a new chapter in its history.
Because adults are never far from their childhood, it seemed natural to reconcile these two worlds. From the child's bedroom to the entire home, there is only one step. And here it is.
True to the French art of living, Little Cabari creations bring art, beauty and poetry into the interior.
House classics
The bird is the emblem of our house. It is this surge of vitality, this aspiration for freedom that lightly invites us to escape from our routine. It is also the very first design imagined by Alice. And the one that inspired the Jazz motif.
Jazz is our signature print. It was born from a desire to reinvent traditional toile de Jouy and replace scenes of pastoral life with vibrant, bountiful nature.
The Nutcracker invites play and contemplation of the rhythms of the forest. The playfulness of squirrels and the cheerful chirping of birds remind us of the joyful energy of the wild. This print is inspired by the Chevreuse Valley, where our illustrator Alice lives.
The Manja set is the first set designed by Little Cabari. Born from a childhood memory, it brings the panoramic frescoes found in family homes up to date. Its phantasmagorical jungle invites you to travel and dream.
The Chiaroscuro decor captures the most beautiful lights of the day, those of the moments of transition between day and night, when nature, still asleep, gradually awakens, or when it regains its calm just before plunging into darkness.
Portraits of the founders:
ALICE RICARD
A graduate of the Penninghen graphic art school, Alice Ricard draws the Little Cabari repertoire of motifs with grace and precision.
Drawing her graphic identity from the stylized lines of Le Douanier Rousseau and the decorative flat tints of Japanese prints, she draws inspiration from nature to imagine poetic flora and fauna. Alice is a hunter of the marvelous. She loves the exuberance of the living world and the dazzling gaiety of color. Her artistic sensibility gives life to a bestiary and vegetation imbued with elegance.
Alice also illustrates children's books.

CAMILLE BAZIL
An interior architect and designer trained at the Penninghen school, Camille Bazil brings her talent for rhythm and color to Little Cabari. Inspired by the vibrant poetry of nature, she imagines harmonies, creates spaces and voids to bring Alice's motifs to life and invent a graphic narrative of delicate refinement.
Camille delivers a very personal vision of beauty. Influenced by the decorative language of Madeleine Castaing, the avant-garde of Charlotte Perriand, and the understated elegance of Andrée Putman, she designs products that blend her taste for beauty, functionality, and durability to give interiors an extra touch of soul.
Camille also designs custom rugs and furniture. She also carries out interior design projects for private clients.
